Fade Away

This record is a love letter, handwritten by the ocean to the moments I wish would never fade. Written and captured during a trip to Tofino, the song holds the feeling of salt air, rain-soaked forests, and the quiet magic of being fully present. We found safety in the trees, danced in the rain, and carried the Pacific waters in our boots, letting the coastline guide the spirit of the record.

The night before our feet touched the sand, we talked about how we’ve been interconnected from the very beginning. When I first moved to the island, I was hiding in plain sight — tucked away in my attic bedroom, quietly healing from all my silent killers. Over time, the depth of the relationships I built on the West Coast began to change me. My heart opened in ways I had never experienced before. It felt as though the Pacific winds had always been waiting for me to come home.

“Fade Away” lives in those spaces between people — in long conversations over tea about books, art, music, and travel; in wandering through thrift-store jungles; in laughter echoing through phone screens across time zones and distance.
