I started grieving the moment as it was happening, looking over all the moments I wish I could frame. discussing endless book plots, eating burgers on Dallas Road and listening to Phoebe Bridgers' "Punisher" on vinyl as we lay on green carpet and stare a the ceilings. after our few days shooting in Tofino, we drove to Madalena and Aysia's hometown, the comox valley. we hide up in Madalena's bedroom as she go through her journals and I sink into a feeling I've never felt before; feeling truly accepted.

I was surrounded by creative, warm, like minded people, which I have the privilege of calling my friends. we talk for hours over tea about books, art, music and travels. we loose ourselves in thrift jungles, the magic of the moment and our laughs echo through phone screens, time changes and distance. we share all the things we've kept inside forever, our silent killers.
